We Empower through Entrepreneur Training, Coaching and Support

Those in underserved neighborhoods regularly experience issues getting start-up financing for a business to some extent due to restricted training, poor credit, lack of capital, and constrained access to bank services.

Mission Bridges Minority Business Accelerator Program (MBMBA) is intended for aspiring business people from low-income neighborhoods. We combine business training and financial counseling so that our clients receive all the tools and resources needed to make their dreams a reality.

Our entrepreneur training program inspires underserved neighborhoods by advancing our clients’ success and energizing the creation of jobs in the community. Through associations with direct lenders, we hope to give access to an extensive variety of small business loan alternatives along with critical business services, training, and resources we provide; that are needed for a successful business.


Entrepreneurship and start-up business services are offered through Mission Bridges.  Our programs are geared toward individuals that have an idea/business concept or are in the early stages of launching a venture.  Self-Employment Training (SET) clients have access to limited services at the incubator during regular business hours such as business coaching, ability to use conference rooms, and use of copy machine, computers and software. Business coaching encompasses everything from helping individuals create a business plan, develop a business model, strategic visioning, marketing planning, market validation, help building relationships with lenders, investors, manufacturers, etc.

The self-employment coordinator works closely with the small business management coordinator to offer seminars and custom training as needed.  The coordinator will also help clients gain information about upcoming short term career development and certification opportunities with partner organizations.

SET clients also enjoy access to the Entrepreneurs Inspire Bootcamp each fall, as well as a spring Small Business Development Academy.  Other annual events that clients have opportunities to participate in are the Business Model Competition, attendance to the Entrepreneurs Leadership Seminar each February, and many more partner events.

Small Business

Our Small Business Management Coordinator can help you maximize the potential of your business.  From marketing, strategy, planning and problem solving, the Small Business Management Coordinator helps clients develop business skills and knowledge through one-on one mentoring as well as workshops, classes and networking events.

Workshops and classes are designed especially for the owners of new and existing small businesses. These classes demonstrate practical methods and ideas for the further growth and development of each client’s business.

One-on-one conferences and meetings are held with each client at his or her place of business or at Mission Bridges offices.  Our Small Business Management Coordinator will provide the necessary individual assistance as well as the privacy required for identifying areas of vulnerability within your business.

Our Small Business Management Coordinator will also serve as the relationship manager between our clients and professional resources in the marketplace such as bankers, accountants, sales trainers, marketing, insurance, human resource professionals, and successful entrepreneurs. We are confident in our ability to help you help your business!  We use our mentoring system to help provide you with clear direction while also helping you to find the appropriate next steps needed to accomplish your business goals.
